New York City Ballet's gala is tonight and the big name of the evening is Valentino. He's costuming a pas de deux for Wendy Whelan and Tyler Angle by Christopher Wheeldon and three ballets by Peter Martins, including a premiere for 10 couples in which each of the women will be wearing a unique creation (Tiler Peck, as she told Pointe, will be the lone woman in Valentino red!). Follow @nycballet for what are sure to be major fashion moments on the red carpet—many of the dancers will be in Valentino, and stars like Beyoncé and Gwyenth Paltrow are rumored to be in attendance. We're also looking forward to big debuts in Rubies from corps members Lauren Lovette, Ashly Isaccs, and Emily Kikta.
Check out this beautiful video from style.com about the Martins/Valentino collaboration.
