Get ready for an NYC double-header. Paul Taylor Dance Company and Taylor 2 perform at Lincoln Center Out of Doors, in the Damrosch Park Bandshell, Aug. 5. The free concert, on Taylor’s 80th birthday, will be the last for retiring dancers Julie Tice and Orion Duckstein.
After two days of master classes, student performances, museum exhibits, and film screenings, the Anaheim International Dance Festival culminates in a performance at the Grove of Anaheim in Anaheim, CA, Aug. 7. On the roster are Jacoby & Pronk, dancers from ABT, NYCB, and Joffrey, Tharp’s Sinatra Suite and more. Tickets start at $20.
