It’s the best of the Northwest! Oregon Ballet Theatre, Eugene Ballet, San Francisco Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet share the stage when Portland’s White Bird Dance presents 4X4 The Ballet Project. The program showcases each company’s contemporary side May 8 and 9 at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall for a price that won’t break your wallet. Tickets from $20. Click here for more info.

New York is in for a bit ‘o luck this weekend when the NYC Irish Dance Festival comes to Pier 1 at Riverside Park. Admission is free and performances include Darrah Carr Dance and Niall O’Leary Irish Dance Troupe. The fest also includes free Irish dancing workshops, so bring your dancing shoes. Arizona's dance scene is in full bloom, and the Genesis Dance Series is the place to see some of the best. Hosted by Desert Dance Theatre, the showcase will feature emerging dance talents as well as some of Arizona's top professional companies, including Gravity Jazz Dance Theatre. Tickets go for $12-$18.
