Catch Dance New Amsterdam’s Love for Haiti benefit on 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, at DNA. Proceeds benefit Haitian earthquake victims. The concert will feature performances from Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, Stephen Petronio Company, and Jonathan Lee, among others. Tickets are $50, but students and artists can get them for only $25. Click here for tickets and info.

 

Watch guest choreographer Patrick Corbin make a new piece with dancers from Rochester City Ballet at its In Studio Open Rehearsal 6:30 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 20, in Rochester, N.Y. There is a suggested donation of $10 which includes a beverage (coffee, soda, wine) of your choice. Space is limited, so call the studio office at (585) 461-5850 to reserve your seat!

 

Where will you be in 10 years? Career Transition For Dancers can help broaden your options when its National Outreach Project comes to Austin, Texas, March 6, at Ballet Austin’s Butler Dance Education Center. There will be workshops for students, pre-professionals, current and former professional dancers, teachers, and choreographers.
