DanceMedia Fall/Winter Internships And Summer Internships

DanceMedia has several current openings for fall/winter interns (Sept.–Dec.) to work on Dance Magazine, Pointe, Dance Spirit, and Dance Teacher, and dancemedia.com. Internships are unpaid, and require a minimum two-day-a-week, onsite commitment. We do not accept high school students. To intern at one of our magazines this fall, please send a cover letter, updated resume, and two writing samples to Hanna Rubin at hrubin@dancemedia.com. Be sure to put "fall/winter internship application" in the subject line. In your cover letter, please explain which magazine you’d like intern for and why. Format them as pdfs or in Word. The deadline for fall/winter internship applications is September 15, 2012. If you would like to apply for a summer internship for next year, you must submit your materials by February 1, 2013. Be sure to put “summer 2013 internship application” in the subject line. We will interview selected candidates in March in person or by phone, and let candidates know by mid-April if they have been chosen. Please note we give a preference to college juniors and seniors for summer internships.
