Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet will be joined by celebrated former San Francisco Ballet principal Muriel Maffre for the company’s 25th anniversary season. LINES will be the cover of Dance Magazine’s upcoming November issue. A DM cover subject herself in March, Maffre has cult status among balletomanes. DM senior advising editor Allan Ulrich singled out the “liquid architecture” of her movement and praised her as "everything that makes SFB distinctive and forward-looking." LINES performances will take place Nov. 2-11 at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater. For tickets, click here.
