I’ll admit it—I used to be a cheater. Up until a few weeks ago, whenever I did crunches I’d yank my head up and down to convince myself I was working really hard. Sadly, that’s not exactly the fast track to a six-pack. Then I heard an amazing piece of advice: push your tongue up onto the roof of your mouth. It elongates your neck, helping keep it straight so the work stays in your abs. You can’t cheat even if you want to!
