Get in the holiday spirit–Halloween, that is–with the Neville Dance Theatre’s “Memento Muerto,” a dance narrative about the Mexican Day of the Dead celebration.
If you’ve never seen ghosts, skeletons and even La Muerta (Lady Death!) doing ballet, modern, flamenco and Argentine tango, now’s your chance! This look at cultural tradition, family unity and, of course, eternal love, starts Oct. 25 with a Halloween gala and goes through Oct. 27 at the 14th Street Theatre in NYC. Tickets are $20. Click here to purchase. For more information, click here. Take a master class with LINES Ballet’s Alonzo King and Arturo Fernandez at the Maple Conservatory of Dance in Irvine, CA.
