#TBT: *NSYNC's 5 Best Dance Moments in Honor of Their Hollywood Walk of Fame Star

April 25, 2018

The revival of everything ’90s has been in full-swing for a while now—we saw Destiny’s Child reunite at Coachella, Britney Spears is headed back on tour, and the Spice Girls miiight be performing at the Royal wedding next month. But Hollywood saved the best ’90s moment for last, bringing *NSYNC back together to receive their official star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 30.

Because we love a good dance #TBT, we’re reliving five of the boys’ best dance moments.

“I Want You Back”

The band’s first single from their self-titled debut album in 1998, “I Want You Back,” was the start of their takeover (and their choreographed dance moves).

“Bye Bye Bye”

Choreographed by Darrin Henson (remember Darrin’s Dance Grooves?), watching *NSYNC as dancing marionettes never gets old. Not only is this the band’s song that literally everyone knows, but it’s also their most iconic dance moment, thanks in large part to the chorus moves we all perfected with our friends at recess.

“It’s Gonna Be Me”

Aka, the song that launched a thousand memes. It’s only appropriate that *NSYNC is set to receive their star on “It’s gonna be May”-day. The dancing in this basically serves as a follow up to “Bye Bye Bye,” with choreography that only the truly dedicated fans were able to master.

“Pop”

From their third and final album, Celebrity, *NSYNC worked with choreographer Wade Robson (who actually filled in for an injured Joey Fatone) on the “Pop” video.

“Girlfriend”

We may be partial to the Nelly remix, but the official vid is still one of our top picks. This time around, *NSYNC teamed up with choreographer Marty Kudelka, who has been working with Justin Timberlake on his solo projects ever since they met through the group in 2001.
