While enjoying a Fourth of July barbeque with friends, it’s easy to spot the trays of delicious food and fear the worst. If you’re concerned about overindulging, head to the watermelon first. This cookout favorite is water-rich, so it fills you up without weighing you down. That's not to say you shouldn't enjoy something from the grill. But if you start off with fruit, you’ll be less tempted by heavy snacks like potato salad, brownies, and fries.
During this pandemic, we dancers have not been living in our normal bodies. Even though we may not see a physical change, on the inside, our bodies have altered. Use me as an example: Before COVID-19, I was a 28-year-old healthy, active human being. But after my recovery, a 15-minute abdominal workout practically destroyed my hips, kidneys and my entire dance career.
