Dana Nichols

Dana began training in classical Russian Vaganova technique at the Yuri Grigoriev School of Ballet in Los Angeles at the age of seven. Soon after she started training in modern dance, flamenco, and lyrical jazz. She has participated in training programs at Dance Theatre of Harlem and Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre. In 2014 she graduated from Haverford College with a degree in English Literature with a concentration in African Studies. During that time, she trained in the Bryn Mawr College Dance Program, where she performed regularly in the ballet, modern, and West African dance ensembles. She co-founded Haverford College Dance Company. After graduating, she joined D/2 (Apprentice Company of Philadanco). She is currently in her fourth season with Philadanco. dananicholsdance.com
