Ryan Rockmore

Ryan Rockmore is an L.A.-based dance researcher and flamenco performer and is currently a PhD student in Culture & Performance at UCLA's Department of World Arts & Cultures/Dance. His scholarly work addresses “percussivity" in movement and the genre of percussive dance, while his research-based and embodied artistic practice focuses on queerness and gender in flamenco dance.
