American Ballet Theatre fans are eagerly awaiting an exciting season, with Misty Copeland and Stella Abrera taking on their first, long-awaited performances as principal dancers.

But let’s not forget about another one of ABT’s newer principals, Isabella Boylston. Last year was her first in the company’s highest rank. But, she says, in a recent interview with Marie Claire, this is her first as a ballerina, after finally conquering the classical trifecta of Giselle, Odette/Odile and Aurora. Alexei Ratmansky’s Sleeping Beauty reconstruction was a highlight for her, and the magazine followed her throughout preparations for performance. It’s a beautiful look at the intricate costuming, and of course, her natural lines (legs and feet galore!).
