Remembering Gus Solomons jr, 1938–2023

by Wendy Perron | Aug 28, 2023

A triptych of images of Gus Solomons jr. In a black and white image, he is young, pulling a long, bent leg toward his face as he gazes past it. In the center, against a green backdrop, his eyes drift close as he leans into one hip, eyes turned into the light. At right, silver haired and bearded, he stands in his studio, knees bent and eyes intense as his arms curve around his torso.
