Congratulations to Deborah Chambers for her piece “On the outside looking in,” winner of the
Dance Magazine Editors’ Choice Award. The piece excelled in fusing abrupt and angular movements into a cohesively fluid performance. As both dancer and choreographer, Deborah artfully merged movement, music and performance. Unconventional movements were approached with both emotional gusto and confidence, creating a unique and captivating performance. A beautiful piece, Deborah!
