Speed up the Tempo
Hitting the gym to do some cardio? Leave the magazine behind, but grab your iPod. While reading or watching TV, most people don’t work out as hard. It’s too distracting—you end up focusing on “Friends” reruns instead of on really working your muscles. But listening to music helps you keep going for longer, and you’ll be working harder. Especially for those of us trained to automatically move to music, aka dancers!
