Keep Moving: 10 Winter Intensives

December 5, 2012

Want to put your winter break to good use? A vacation from school means extra time to dance, and more and more companies seem to be offering winter intensives. If there’s a choreographer whose work you’ve always wanted to experience, or a training program you’d like to try, now’s the time: look online to see if that artist or studio offers a December or January workshop. For starters, we’ve rounded up 10 New York City programs that we think are worth checking out. Click on each one for details. And for a more in-depth look at some of these programs, read Lauren Kay’s piece, “Staying Warm,” from our November 2011 issue.
