A Look at SAB's Spring Performance

If there’s anything dancers enjoy as much as a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of professional dancers, it might be getting a feel for how other students around the country train. Tomorrow, PBS’s “Live From Lincoln Center” series will air the School of American Ballet’s spring performance from 2014. Not only will we get to see students tackle Balanchine classics like Serenade, Coppélia, Swan Lake and Western Symphony, but we’ll also get to sneak into SAB’s studios to see what goes into making these ballets shine. There will be clips from rehearsals with Peter Martins and Darci Kistler, dancer interviews and performance footage.
