A Taste of Broadway in Boston

March 11, 2013

Did you know Harvard University offers free dance master classes that are open to the public? This Thursday, musical theater choreographer Josh Rhodes will teach class from 5:30–7pm, with a half-hour Q&A session to follow. Rhodes recently completed choreography for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, which opened this month on Broadway. Have you read about Rhodes’ journey from Decatur to The Great White Way? Check out Sylviane Gold’s “On Broadway: Slippers and Twirls” in the March issue of Dance Magazine.

In case you’re already booked this Thursday, there’s more. Former Paul Taylor star Patrick Corbin (and director of NYC-based CorbinDances) is on deck for April 4, and 2010 Dance Magazine cover girl Rika Okamoto is scheduled to lead a Twyla Tharp workshop (plus a Q&A) the following week. Details here.
