ABT has a new apprentice program!

American Ballet Theatre has announced an exciting new apprentice program last week. Six lucky dancers will get personalized training, make-up and mime lessons, pilates instruction, nutrition advice, and more beginning this September. They will take part in ABT’s Nutcracker and be mentored by senior members of the corps de ballet. It’s meant to help transition a promising dancer from student to professional. Overseeing the program is former Editor-in-chief of Dance Spirit, current Dance Magazine advisor and ABT Studio Company Artistic Associate Kate Lydon.
