Astaire Awards Awarded!

Last night the dance community converged on the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts for the 2013 Fred & Adele Astaire Awards.  Charlotte d’Amboise won the award for Outstanding Female Dancer in a Broadway Show for her work in Pippin. Eric LaJuan won the award for Outstanding Male Dancer in a Broadway Show for Motown. And there was a tie for Outstanding Choreographer of a Broadway Show: Chet Walker (Pippin) and Patricia Wilcox/Warren Adams (Motown) split the votes.
