Lydia Murray

Lydia holds a B.A. in philosophy and an M.A. in integrated marketing communication from Marist College. As a student, she wrote about dance for the campus arts and entertainment magazine Generator Magazine and won the award of Crew MVP as an interviewer for the Marist Poll. After serving as a freelance social media manager, she returned to Marist as program assistant in the International Programs department. Lydia received a Project Plie scholarship to intern at American Ballet Theatre in 2018, where she assisted the associate director of education and training in coordinating the organization's outreach programs. She subsequently became the intern program fellow/assistant to the deputy director at Jacob's Pillow, where she managed the intern program, served on the IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility) Task Force and coordinated the 2019 National Dance Presenters' Forum. While studying on scholarship at the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts, Lydia performed for Pope Benedict XVI alongside MOMIX and danced lead roles in The Nutcracker.
