Broadway Meets Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

November 24, 2014

Confession: I’ve lived in New York City for seven years and I’ve never been to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a part of my Turkey Day traditions. Most of the time, it’s TV background noise that puts me in the holiday spirit while I help prep dinner. But the minute I hear a dance number is coming, I’m out of the kitchen and glued to the screen.

This year will be no exception. Word has it that we’ll see our October On the Town cover stars perform, as well as excerpts from Sting’s The Last Ship, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Side Show and Honeymoon In Vegas. We’ll also get a preview of “Peter Pan Live!” which airs on December 4. (Look for more on Side Show and “Peter Pan Live!” in our December issue.)

The parade will march into your TV set November 27 at 9 am on NBC.
