ENB's First Season Under Rojo Announced

September 24, 2012

New artistic director Tamara Rojo is already making plans for ENB. In a press release Rojo says she wants to “transform English National Ballet into England’s most creative and most loved ballet company…” Big words! But she’s off to a good start with her programming. Especially exciting is a Nureyev anniversary program and the company premier of JirÌŒí Kylián’s Petite Mort.

Rojo is still dancing as well. She’ll perform Aurora and the Sugar Plum later this season. Until you can see her in person check out this video of Rojo and Carlos Acosta rehearsing MacMillan’s Manon: http://dancemedia.com/v/1985.
