July 24 & 25

In honor of the 80th anniversary of American Dance Festival, Mark Dendy shows an interactive work commissioned by the Lincoln Center Out of Doors Festival, based on the ritual movements often associated with public spaces. Dancers from Ballet Hispanico Dos, the Ailey School, North Carolina School of the Arts, and elsewhere perform short, looping phrases at the Hearst Plaza at Lincoln Center. The piece, Ritual Cycle, is set to music by the Kronos Quartet—also celebrating an anniversary, its 40th. 6PM, Lincoln Center Out of Doors Festival
