Today’s archive photo is Roxane D’Orleans Juste in José Limón’s Dances for Isadora. The Limón company was busy this week with their annual Gala. Those honored included Yolanda Santos Garza, Founder, Ballet de Monterrey, and President, Supera social wellness organization; Roy Cosme, President/Founder, Arcos Communications and Limón Board member; and Norton Owen, Director of Preservation, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival.

Roxane is currently overseeing Limón4Kids. The company’s website describes the program as “An arts and education program introducing middle-school youth in largely Hispanic neighborhoods in New York City schools to modern dance and to modern dance pioneer José Limón. The program focuses on the goals of dance-making, dance technique, dance literacy, and performing.”
