Is the Jersey Tap Fest on Your Calendar?
The fourth annual Jersey Tap Fest will kick off August 22 in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Get ready for four days of classes, jam sessions, history lessons, and brunch with faculty including DM cover gal Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, Jason Janas, Evan Ruggiero, tap historian Hank Smith, and festival founder, Hillary-Marie Michael. If you can’t make the classes, consider attending the festival’s Saturday evening showcase, Tap ‘N Time, featuring a live band and performances by faculty, festival participants, and guest artists including Sean Fielder’s Boston Tap Company.
