J. Lo's Dancers Light Up the Small Screen

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to go on tour with a major recording artist like Jennifer Lopez, consider tuning in to the new dance documentary series A Step Away, premiering tonight at 10/9c on NUVOtv.

Notice how I didn’t write “reality TV”? From the looks of the previews (you can watch a few sneak peeks here), it seems as though the drama is left out and the dance is kept in. Jenny from the Block is one of the show’s executive producers, and thanks to her roots as a dancer herself, I don’t think she’s skimped on the stuff we want to watch. Not only will we get to know the dancers, we’ll also get an insider’s view of studio rehearsals, tech rehearsals, pre-show note sessions, last minute changes, and the actual performances on J. Lo’s first world tour.
