Jacob's Pillow Announces Its 2015 Season
It’s been snowing non-stop all morning here in New York City. So you can imagine that I—and probably many of you—can’t wait for warmer weather. And what comes with that? Summer dance festivals, of course.
One of the biggest, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, has announced its lineup for 2015. As usual, the list is a stellar combination of big and small troupes spanning many genres. Some highlights? The dance/radio collaboration between Monica Bill Barnes and Ira Glass, Three Acts, Two Dancers, One Radio Host; our 2015 “25 to Watch” choreographer Osnel Delgado and his company Malpaso; the young, bold company with big named rep like Barak Marshall and Hofesh Schecter, BODYTRAFFIC; and the little company that eloquently takes on Ashton, Sarasota Ballet.
