Misty's Taking Over

In case Misty’s Under Armour campaign reveal a few weeks ago wasn’t big enough news, she’s (unsurprisingly) got more up her sleeve: a movie in the works. New Line Cinema has brought on Offspring Entertainment’s Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot to produce a feature film based on Misty’s memoir, Life In Motion: An Unlikely Ballerina. The movie will focus primarily on Misty’s training years, from her late start at age 13 to late teens. Who will play a young Misty Copeland? TBD, but filmmakers are looking for a young, multi-talented performer with dance training to fill the role. We can’t wait to find out more!
