Take Class with a Hunk

March 20, 2013

On Sunday March 24, Art of Motion is presenting a two-hour master class with New York City Ballet principal Amar Ramasar and his uncle Daniel Catanach, who first introduced Ramasar to ballet. (Catanach is on faculty at Steps on Broadway.) Class starts at 2pm and is $30 in advance, $40 at the door. It might seem a bit steep for a ballet class, but there are two teachers (meaning more personal corrections) and one of them is Ramasar. Dance Magazine can’t get enough of the Bronx native, especially when he’s flying across the stage in a Balanchine work. His energy and passion for ballet is palpable from the audience—imagine how infectious it will be close up.

Located in Ridgewood, New Jersey, Art of Motion dance studio is an easy commute from New York City on NJ Transit trains, and is roughly a block from the Ridgewood station. RSVP and details here.
