The Return of "city.ballet."

Great news, bunheads: “city.ballet.” is coming back for a second season. Even better? You’ll be able to watch all 12 episodes right here on dancemagazine.com starting next Tuesday, November 4. 

If last year’s episodes were any indication, this docu-series (which is executive produced by none other than Sarah Jessica Parker) will offer a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at life inside New York City Ballet: the competition, the injuries, the struggle of a fading spotlight. The press release promises this season will showcase ballet master in chief Peter Martins and principals Sara Mearns and Chase Finlay, among other top stars. Hopefully that means we get more dancer apartment tours…
