Watch Patrick Stewart in the Studio

Head’s up, Trekkies and X-Men fans: Acting legend Patrick Stewart’s latest project has brought him to the ballet studio. In his new film, Match, he stars as a spirited Juilliard professor obsessed with his former career as a classical dancer and choreographer. The opening scene shows Stewart leading a class in Juilliard’s Lincoln Center studios. Although he doesn’t exactly demonstrate grand allegro, it’s fun to watch such an icon mark a few center combinations and interact with some pretty good dancers who play the students in his class.  

The film, presented by IFC Films, just opened in theaters yesterday and is also available on video on demand. Take a peek at the trailer here, and check for movie times on Fandango.
