Thank Your Teachers with #ndeothanks

Turkey Day is almost here. And while I’m sure you’re stoked about the turkey dinner itself, let’s not forget about the spirit behind Thanksgiving—the “thanks” part. The National Dance Education Organization has proclaimed that December 1 is Thank a Dance Teacher Day. Think of a teacher who has made an impact on your life and create a video and put it on social media. Get creative: Make up a dance, write a poem or sing a tune. All NDEO asks is that you also donate $10 to the organization for each post. And don’t forget to use the hashtag #ndeothanks.

We don’t often tell our teachers how much their dedication both in and outside the dance studio means to us. They pass on so much more than great technique! A simple thank you will mean more to them than any Black Friday gift money can buy.
